UK's 2026 SLAM DUNK To Have Two Dedicated Heavy Stages Featuring DYING WISH, KNOCKED LOOSE, & More To Celebrate 20 Years Running

Next year's Slam Dunk is due to have two new side by side main stages dedicated to non-stop metalcore, hardcore, and post-hardcore with no set clashes.

25.05.24

Slam Dunk has hosted some pretty heavy acts over the years – Of Mice & Men, While She Sleeps, The Amity Affliction, LANDMVRKS, Stray From The Path – and alongside their final line-up announcement for 2026, the festival also announced they would be featuring "two brutal new heavy stages. Side by side. Back to back. No clashes." It comes as a part of the festival's 20th anniversary celebrations.

And 2025's Slam Dunk could definitely have been a stepping stone to this new inclusion – it did feature the aforementioned Stray From The Path and LANDMVRKS, as well as the English metal group DEFECTS and the hardcore band Scowl. That, and metal bands are doing pretty well right now. In this year's complete line-up, Slam Dunk has dubbed the following to take their 'heavy' stages:

  • Angel Du$t
  • Bury Tomorrow
  • Cancer Bats
  • Comeback Kid
  • CURRENTS
  • Dying Wish
  • Guilt Trip
  • Heriot
  • Knocked Loose
  • Malevolence
  • Pest Control
  • PRESIDENT
  • Saosin
  • Static Dress
