TOM MORELLO & BEARTOOTH Vocalist CALEB SHOMO Team Up For "Everything Burns"

"Everything Burns" was released via Final Fantasy XIV as part of the latest raid added to the game.

Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, etc.) has teamed up with Beartooth vocalist Caleb Shomo for a new single "Everything Burns". The song was released via Final Fantasy XIV as part of the latest raid added to the game, and came about thanks to composer Masayoshi Soken being a huge Rage Against The Machine fan.

"Hey there, I'm Tom Morello, guitarist of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, etc., Very excited to announce that I’ve been working on something very special with the team at Final Fantasy XIV" said Morello prior to the song's release.

"It all started when Jason Charles Miller told me that [Masayoshi Soken], the composer of Final Fantasy XIV, was a huge Rage Against the Machine fan and wanted to collaborate. So I got down to work and rocked this track that you’re about to get a preview of with Beartooth — a great band. We wanted to make something super heavy and super powerful for Final Fantasy XIV. I wanted to make an absolute rocking banger of a track that would mirror the energy and the potency of this game."

Morello continued separately in a press release: "'Everything Burns' is a high energy riff heavy banger that feels like it’s rising from the streets. Collaborating with Beartooth and super producer Tyler Smyth to forge this ferocious next single from my upcoming solo album was a real thrill."

"Everything Burns" was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Tyler Smyth; with additional production by Jon Eberhard and engineering by Joey Doherty.
