This Funk Cover Of ALICE IN CHAINS' "Them Bones" Is Absurdly Good

There's musicianship, and then there's this. Holy hell.

Musora has been hosting these jam sessions where an artist covers a song they've never heard before on the spot. The covers have been great, but holy shit this one is something else.

Jazz funk band The Free Label sat down with Musora to knock out a funky cover of Alice In Chains' "Them Bones" and they literally nailed it on the first take. It's truly insane, and I'm sure anyone who watches the above video is gonna agree. Unless you're a real curmudgeonly fucker.

"In this episode of Covers On The Spot, Toronto's high-energy collective The Free Label transform Alice In Chains' haunting track into a funk explosion… in just one take!" wrote Musora. "Watch as the band tears through arrangement ideas and delivers a performance that’s absolutely audacious."
