Since emerging from London in 2016, Sleep Token have cultivated a mystique unlike any other rock act. Members remain anonymous, performing behind masks that shroud their identities while delivering a unique fusion of rock, metal, and ethereal ambience.
The band's journey began with the self-released debut EP, One, followed by Two in 2017 after signing with Basick Records. These early releases introduced listeners to Sleep Token's signature blend of heavy riffs, soaring melodies, and emotionally charged vocals, setting the stage for their cult following.
Their first full-length album, Sundowning, arrived via Spinefarm Records in 2019, showcasing a masterful balance of aggression and intimacy. The follow-up, This Place Will Become Your Tomb in 2021, expanded on this sound, pushing the boundaries of modern rock with cinematic arrangements and dark, introspective themes.
Most recently, Sleep Token released Take Me Back to Eden in May 2023 and Even in Arcadia in May 2025 via RCA Records, cementing their place as one of the most innovative forces in contemporary rock.
