Post-metal supergroup Old Man Gloom is back again, baby! In what way I have no idea, but they're back dammit.

Old Man Gloom originally decided to carry on after the death of bassist Caleb Scofield (Cave In, Zozobra) in 2018, and put out two records in 2020 with Scofield's Cave In bandmate Stephen Brodsky on bass – those being Seminar VIII: Light of Meaning and Seminar IX: Darkness of Being.

Old Man Gloom is now back again, though it's not clear if they're making new music or just plotting shows. On the reunion, Old Man Gloom stated via Instagram: "We've realized that since we took a year or two off, everything went to shit. So now we're coming to work it all out. Get your checkbooks and body hair trimmers ready. Resume the gloom."

Outside Brodsky, Old Man Gloom is guitarist and vocalist Aaron Turner (Isis, Mamiffer, Sumac), drummer Santos Montano, and guitarist and vocalist Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders, Cave In).
