Have you ever listened to Dimmu Borgir and wished they were singing about getting stoned? Well good news, because Dimmu Bongir is here to bring you exactly that. Dimmu Bongir pretty much nails that late '90s symphonic black metal sound, but instead of Satan, focuses their lyrics on getting ripped.
Dimmu Bongir has two albums out so far – Hvis pipen tar oss in 2023 and Dark Medieval Hash in 2024 – and honestly, they're pretty solid. Not exactly album of the year material or anything, but for a doofy "weed black metal" joke, both records are solid. Now if we could just get Dimmu Bongir and Cannabis Corpse to go on some kind of ridiculous tour together.
