MALEVOLENCE Drops Off Summer Slaughter 2025

Malevolence cites "unforeseen personal circumstances."

Malevolence 2025

After days of speculation and lineup shifts, UK metalcore heavyweights / have confirmed their departure from the upcoming Summer Slaughter Tour 2025. The band issued an official statement citing "unforeseen personal circumstances" as the reason for bowing out of the high-profile U.S. trek.

Rumors first circulated when Hatebreed, who are headlining the tour, announced a handful of replacement acts over the weekend, sparking questions about Malevolence's status. Now, with their exit confirmed, fans are left wondering who will fill the gap on remaining dates.

As of now, Hatebreed has not announced replacements for every stop, leaving parts of the lineup still in flux. Stay tuned for updates as Hatebreed and tour organizers finalize the full revised lineup.

"We are sad to announce we will no longer be joining Hatebreed and the rest of the lineup this July," wrote Malevolence. "Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to step back from this run.

"As a band this kind of decision has never been taken lightly, and we want to sincerely apologise to anyone who was looking forward to catching us on this tour. We have nothing but love for everyone involved in the Summer Slaughter tour and encourage you all to go out and support every band on that stage. We hope to be back in the US with you all soon."
