Modern metalcore favorites Knocked Loose have unveiled their brand-new single "Hive Mind", marking the band's first new release since 2024. For this track, they've teamed up with rapper Denzel Curry, who has increasingly explored alternative metal and hardcore sounds in recent years. Curry and the band previously shared a stage at the Outbreak Festival in Manchester, UK, last year.
The song's music video, directed by Eric Richter (Dying Wish, Spite) alongside Knocked Loose vocalist Brian Garris, was filmed on October 15, 2025, at the Dave Armstrong Extreme Park in Louisville, KY.
Garris explained the origins of the collaboration: "This is something we've talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it."
Curry himself has been expanding his footprint in the alternative metal world, currently opening for Deftones on their overseas tour.
Fans can expect "Hive Mind" to deliver the unrelenting aggression Knocked Loose are known for, now fused with Curry's signature intensity and flow, creating a track that bridges the gap between hardcore and hip-hop while staying true to both artists' roots.
