UK death metal outfit Ingested have abruptly and "effective immediately" parted ways with vocalist Josh Davies. Davies joined in 2024 after the departure of founding vocalist Jason Evans, and is set for his first appearance on an Ingested record via their upcoming effort Denigration.

No word on what happened Ingested notes they've recruited ex-A Wake In Providence vocalist Adam Mercer for the time being. In a brief statement, the group said: "Effective immediately, Josh Davies is no longer a member of Ingested. Adam Mercer will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Bodysnatcher tour."

A TikTok has surfaced making some pretty hefty allegations of abuse against Davies, which you can watch right here. The user sums up their video as follows: "i never thought i'd be making this but after hearing he's been taking advantage of other people i will not be silent anymore.

"his behaviour is disgusting and people need to be made aware of what he is like. im probably going to take some time away from socials after posting this as im not good at dealing with stress very well :,) thank you for listening."

At this time, it remains unclear how the lineup change will impact the release of Denigration or the band's longer-term plans. Fans are awaiting further clarification as the situation develops. Ingested has the following tour dates lined up. Get your tickets for all the below right here.
