DISEMBODIED TYRANT Injured In "Freak Accident", Fill-In Vocalists Announced

Disembodied Tyrant vocalist Blake Mullens is sadly going to miss the band's upcoming tour due to a severe injury in a "freak accident."

According to Disembodied Tyrant, Mullens is facing a "lengthy" recovery process and that "no more details given in relation to the incident out of respect for his family." Filling in for Mullens on their upcoming tour with Whitechapel is Winter’s Gate vocalists Trevor Teichert and Ryan Vail of LarcɆnia RoɆ and Synestia.

Disembodied Tyrant stated: "On Monday the 3rd, Blake was involved in a freak accident that resulted in significant injuries to multiple limbs, requiring emergency hospitalization and surgery. He is okay, but there will be no more details given in relation to the incident out of respect for his family.

"Due to this event and the lengthy recovery process involved, he is unfit to perform on DT’s upcoming US tour with Whitechapel. He is expected to recover in time for the band’s next tour in March.

"He does not want to the band to lose momentum or opportunities, so the tour will proceed as planned with @trevorteichert and @rynovail stepping in on vocals. The rest of the band will see you there with Whitechapel, Bodysnatcher, and AngelMaker."
